Ashford Journals- Part 8

Part 8:
Angela and her crew headed for Jonah Town to find Ahab and then the Frogfather. As they neared Jonah Town, it lived up to it's name. It was on a giant whale! Angela located Ahab who knows where the Frogfather is but has other problems to worry about. His best fisherman Brody had not returned from trawling for sky clams near the Vortex of Doom. Ahab asked Angela and crew to find Brody. Angela entered the vortex and saw Brody's boat surrounded by Storm Sharks. The crew, along with Brody, made quick work of the sharks that had gotten on board Brody's boat. She returned Brody to Jonah Town, where Ahab advised that his son, Norville, had not returned from Rapa Nui yet. Angela travelled to Rapa Nui and asked the Water Moles about Norville. Their chief Omurtu explained that Ratbeard betrayed them and had the Waponis attack them. Angela boarded her raft and sank Waponi ships surrounding the peaceful Nuis. Angela returned to Chief Omurtu and he gave her a Mojo potion. The Chief advised Angela to talk to Hunter Raku for help in locating Norville... Will Angela find Norville? Who is the mysterious Frogfather? Who's sandwich is in the fridge? Stay tuned for the next installment of the Ashford Journals.

Farewell to Autumn NXP Party

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who attended the NXP party in honor of Autumn. Some people leveled up nicely, and Spartacos received quite the thrashing. I feel this was a successful first- time NXP Party! We'll be doing more events in the future, so stay tuned here and Twitter. And as always.... Pirates.... UNITE!

Ahoy pirates! The monthly Pirate101 newsletter is out! What treasure does it have in store? Well, for starters, Blind Mew is in the Rogue's Gallery. What's said about him? "That would be telling."

Ashford Journal- Part 7

Part 7:
The ghosts of Ratbeard's former crew asked Angela to aid them in passing on. Moe asked Angela to retreive his former love's locket from Crimson Jake. Jake was told the tale and was reminded of a love he once had, but Angela wanted no part in the story, so Jake sent her out into the skyway for Batacuda meat for his supper in exchange for information on the locket's location. Angela and crew quickly dispatched the Batacudas and obtained several delicous steaks. They returned to Jake with the meat and he told Angela that the locket is in a chest on Skull Island, behind the waterfall. Angela made her way to Skull Island and located the locket. Upon it's return, Nancy said she forgave Moe. Angela returned to Moe and told him the news. Moe instructed Angela to talk to Jack. Jack, who had only taken the job to pay the ransom for his nephew, asked Angela to save his nephew from the Red Claws. Angela and crew disembarked to Skull Island to locate these menacing crustaceans. The crew located Black Rock cave, where Nick was hanging over a stew pot. Angela's crew engaged in a fierce battle with the crabs. While Angela and Louis opened fire, Wing sneaked past and saved Nick, who then joined the fight. The crabs were defeated and Nick was returned home safely. Jack received the news and wanted Agela to talk to Lasko one last time. Lasko explained that the Frogfather would know where Ratbeard was. He told Angela to go to Jonah Town and ask Ahab to speak to the Frogfather... Will Angela find Ratbeard? Will she meet the Frogfather? What smells like bacon? The Eighth

This isn't my usual thing on here but I wanted to post about this guy and get everyone's mind on the fact that we are nearing the double digits in the number of teaser photos for the next Pirate101 update. Off the bat I looked at any clues in the name of the picture and it was named Barmy33.jpg which creates one question: is this one of the supposed new school class companions? I hope it is because it looks like it could be a swashbuckler with those things (I don't know anything about shrimp rather then that they live in the water XD) there but looking at the back of the photo it shows that my theory could be wrong. I gave my estimate for what this shrimp could be used for but what do you think? A class companion or something else?

Farewell to Autumn- Memorial NXP Party

Today, one of the best left the community. Her name was Autumn and she ran the fantastic site, secretsofthespiral.com. She was a excellent blogger and a pillar of the KI community. She was the one who helped welcome me into this wonderful community, and for that, I'm eternally grateful. If it wasn't for her, I would not be sending this out now. She will be dearly missed. In honor of her and her service to this community, we will be holding an NXP Party, which was a Secret of the Spiral regular. Won't you come and pay honor to Autumn and secretsofthespiral.com?
